Meet Lindsay Fisher

LCSW-S, Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor

Grief therapy Houston

Therapy is a safe place to share your story, grow in your strengths, and heal; my goal as a therapist is to help individuals and families cultivate their strengths by unpacking life experiences and working toward positive change. To facilitate this growth, I center empathetic connections with each client–which, in turn, leads to healing and change by eliminating shame and allowing for vulnerable reflection. This empathy allows you to feel empowered to make sustainable changes in your life. Wherever you’re coming from, or whatever challenges you have faced, there is hope for growth.

At the core of my therapeutic approach are relationships, empathy, and resilience, which lend to my expertise in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and parents. With previous experience as a school social worker, I’ve helped children and families facing a variety of life crises and transitions heal together. Whether you’re looking for support for your child or teen as you grow and change as a family, my goal is to help you heal, process, and grow with grace.

Encountering grief and frequent cross-state moves at a young age is what originally inspired me to pursue a clinical social work license. Since then, my professional identity has been shaped by a passion to provide individuals and families with the opportunity to receive compassionate care so they can experience life to the fullest. I consistently strive to hone my therapeutic skills through relevant and recent research, all with the goal of offering a safe space for whatever you and/or your child are facing.

In my free time, I love to do just about anything that involves sunshine and the outdoors, especially if my dog is invited. I love to cheer on the Baylor Bears and the Astros, go for long runs, and water ski. I’m always up for a good book recommendation or a new recipe.

Still wondering? I’d love to meet you!
